New Ed Schultz interview in Men's Health




In a candid new article in Men Health, MSNBC host Ed Schultz opens up about the evolution of his political beliefs from conservative to liberal. Schultz says there was a "series of grassroots events" that changed his life and political views. Specifically, he outlined the two main factors, which were:



Meeting his wife Wendy Schultz says wife Wendy and I met in 1997. She was managing the homeless clinic in Fargo. For one of our first dates, she says, down to the Salvation Army and let have lunch. I said okay, but I didn even know where it was. I went in there and it was all these homeless people, ugg boots clearance and a lot of them were veterans. I started talking with them and it really motivated me to start a series on veterans benefits, how it was rotten that we simply weren doing right by our veterans. That was one of those moments.



Losing his mother to Alzheimer mom passed away from Alzheimer in 2002. I saw up close how the healthcare system, Medicare, all of it, functions. You go through things that have a profound effect on you. That was a big one. also discussed his daily grind as a radio and television host (he has his radio show from cheap ugg bailey button boots 123PM ET and then his show on MSNBC at 8PM ET) and how he deals with stress on the job.
